Sentence Frames

I was told about one of the National TESOL sessions presented on using the Academic Formulas List (AFL) to improve writing. While I didn’t attend the session, the idea reminded me of this great list from “They Say, I Say” which has some very simple sentence frames for students to use when doing research writing. It’s a go to for me when teaching academic writing and hopefully it will be for those of you who are also teaching academic writing. Enjoy!
